Role: Site Manager
Location: North East
Reports to: Operations Manager
Role Purpose
Responsible for overseeing the safe delivery of a project involving rendering, re-roofing and associated works.
Role Responsibilities
· Provide health and safety leadership to your site delivery team, ensuring all works are carried out in a safe manner and do not cause risk to our installers, residents and the public.
· Liaise closely with the Operational Support Team to ensure works are carried out in accordance with agreed specifications and in a compliant way to ensure quality and compliance standards are met. Delivering projects to program as set by the senior management team.
· Liaise closely with residents to ensure they are kept fully informed of progress and any matters which may arise during installation of the works. Provide a responsive and reliable point of contact to resolve matters which may arise and are reported by the residents.
· Ensure our suppliers, sub-contractors and direct workforce follow company policies and procedures including health & safety, quality assurance and installation standards.
· Ensure works carry out minimal disruption for residents and ensure areas are always kept clean and tidy.
· Carry out, when necessary, toolbox talks, daily activity briefings with sub-contractors and direct workforce.
· Maintain accurate records of work done and in progress and share this with the Operational Support team on a regular basis.
· Liaise with the Operational Support team to order general materials as required to complete the project.
· Ensure work is carried out to a high standard complying with relevant industry and system manufacturers’ standards, completed, snagged and defect free.
· Lead on site team to deliver the company’s management expectations successfully across all key areas of the project, managing and supporting the individuals and team that are under your control to meet and exceed business performance targets.
Person Specification
- Proven and demonstrable experience in the role of a Site Manager (essential)
- Experience of working in occupied buildings/homes (essential)
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with clear and confident written and verbal communication skills (essential)
- High level of organisational ability along with time management skills in order to drive and meet deadlines (essential)
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to all tasks undertaken and able to demonstrate initiative (essential)
- Commitment to providing a high-quality service demonstrating reliability, conscientiousness and flexibility (essential)
- Adept at working in a team and providing leadership/support to fellow team members (essential)
- Experience of managing health and safety procedures along with knowledge of H&S standards/regulations (essential)
- SMSTS, CSCS Card, First Aid (preferred)
- Competent user of IT software packages including MS Office or similar tablet-based quality assurance software (preferred)

Role: Operations Manager
Location: North-West Based, with contracts across North & Midlands
Reports to: Managing Director
Role Purpose: The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing all Operational matters across the business, leading, building & strengthening the operational team, managing projects, ensuring efficiency and quality control, ensuring compliance with industry standards (i.e. PAS2030/PAS2035) and collaborating with various stakeholders to create an industry leading reputation.
Role Responsibilities
• Provide Health and safety leadership to operational management team and their site delivery teams, ensuring all works are carried out in a safe manner and does not cause risk to our installers, residents and the general public.
• Ensure all projects are carried out to the highest possible standards, complying with relevant industry and system manufacturers’ standards (including PAS2030/PAS2035) – completed, snagged and defect free.
• Liaise closely with the Operational Support Team to ensure all contracts are carried out in accordance with agreed specifications and in a compliant way to ensure quality and compliance standards are met.
• Creating operational delivery targets and ensuring all projects meet or exceed these targets.
• Work with our senior management team to build and strengthen our supply chain.
• Ensure our suppliers, subcontractors and direct workforce follow company policies and procedures including health & safety, quality assurance and installation standards.
• Oversee our operational on-site delivery teams to ensure works cause minimal disruption for residents and ensure areas are always kept clean and tidy.
• Ensure appropriate training is provided to our operational delivery teams including where necessary toolbox talks, daily activity briefings, health & safety training, and NVQ/vocational qualifications.
• Maintain accurate records of progress and performance on all projects and share this with the senior management team and Board.
• Liaise with the operational support team to ensure materials are ordered on time and to meet specification requirements for all projects.
• Lead and support on site operational delivery teams to deliver the company’s senior management expectations successfully across all key areas of the projects, managing and supporting the individuals and team that are under your control to meet and exceed business performance targets.
Person Specification
• Familiarity with PAS2030 standards and compliance (Preferred).
• Familiarity with various energy efficiency government-funding schemes (Preferred).
• Proven and demonstrable experience in the role of an Operations Manager overseeing multiple projects in the construction, energy efficiency, or renewables space.
• Experience of working in occupied buildings/homes.
• Experience of managing health and safety procedures along with knowledge of H&S standards/regulations.
• SMSTS, CSCS Card, First Aid (Preferred).
• Competent user of IT software packages including MS Office or similar tablet-based quality assurance software.
• Competent user of programme management software (Preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High level of organisational ability along with time management skills in order to drive and meet deadlines.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to all tasks undertaken.
